[Kea-users] feature request - status check

hi all

i want to check the availability of the kea-dhcp process with an external program (via control agent).

there is no "status-check" command.

so i tried "config-check" but its writing a log each time i use it ( every 2 seconds. ).

can you offer an idea ?

I use dhcping to check it can do DHCP,  gather statistics from it with
statistic-get-all, and notify of recent ALLOC_ENGINE_V4_ALLOC_FAIL events
from the log.

I use Monit to keep tabs on mine (and also make sure they stay running).
